Emotion is driving this zero-waste cut dress. In the shape of a hand, the wearer is poetically wrapped in a dress that attempt to be eco-responsible. Fascinated with handmade work, I was inspired to create a slow-evolving dress that explores the enduring importance of knowledge of handwork.

Passion and passionate love. The hand’s shape as a draped dress, like a hand wrapping around the woman wearing it. The dress holding the hand within, the hand holding the woman, the woman wearing the dress…
Touch creates the need to design a dress reminiscent of an embrace. Passionate love as a creative force.
Serial draping is explored to evoke the movement of a hand on the body, a strenuous study of lace to showcase hand-made work and the becoming in the actual.
A memory of the gesture remains.

L’émotion est le leitmotiv de cette robe coupé sans gaspillage textile. Dans la forme d’une main, la robe enveloppe poétiquement le corps tout en tentant d’être éco-responsable. Fascinée par le travail fait-main, j’ai créé une robe en devenir à un rythme que seule la réflexion peut faire ralentir.

La passion, l’amour passion. La forme de la main, une robe drapée, telle une main qui saisit le corps de la femme qui la porte. La robe qui porte en elle la main, la main qui porte la femme, la femme qui porte la robe, …
Le toucher provoque le besoin de créer une robe qui évoque l’étreinte. L’amour passion comme moteur créatif.
Le drapé en exploration sérielle pour évoquer le mouvement d’une main sur le corps, la dentelle en apprentissage ardu pour mettre en lumière le travail fait-main et le devenir dans le faire.
La mémoire du geste demeure.
